Welcome to AboutJustin.net. Whether you have come to find out more about me for personal or professional reasons, you have come to the right place.
My name is Justin; I grew up in the suburbs of Atlanta, Georgia where I lived for just over 20 years. I graduated from Chattahoochee High School; Class of 2000. After working my way through, In 2010, I graduated college from Kennesaw State University where I earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing and a Minor in International Management.
My two life passions are restoring cars and traveling and would eventually like to be in a position to have travel as part of my work. I am also very open to the prospect of living abroad should a position allow it.
Finally, I would like to address my name issue. My legal name is Justin Goldfarb, however, I have been going by Justin Shepherd for many years; Shepherd is my mother’s maiden name. This being said, you will see me addressed as both on this site, in documents and commendations.
About me professionally, I have been in the insurance industry for the last several years, however I am excited about making a change into a new field. In January 2012, I started a new position in a new field. I now work for Medtronic; a fantastic medical device company. I think this was a great move with great opportunity. My current career objective with Medtronic is to move into the role of D.T.C. (Diabetes Therapy Consultant) and then eventually become a T.M. (Territory Manager) somewhere back East. Although this is my new career path and I will hopefully not have a reason to go back to insurance, I will be keeping my Property and Casualty and Life and Health Insurance licenses up to date.
In past positions I have worked in a basic sales capacity role, all the way up to recruitment, training and management. I have also been in the role of Director of Marketing and Marketing Manager. You will learn more about these positions if you review my Resume located on this site.
One thing I feel people should know is that I have a strong affinity and passion for helping others. I will always go out of my way to make sure people who need and want help, get it. I genuinely care about what I do and I care about the people I help and will go that extra mile to help those that I can.
I love to learn new things, especially if they make me more proficient in my role. Education and training are things that can never be taken away from you.
Thanks for stopping by to learn more about me. Feel free to contact me should you have any additional questions.
